K.A. Ambrose, 48, sits in on the corner of Cornwall and Magnolia in downtown Bellingham at the longest running peace vigil in the U.S. Ambrose had just finished enjoying a free, home-cooked dinner from the local Food Not Bombs group. “I’ve been coming to Food Not Bombs for twenty years now, from Boston to San Francisco,” Ambrose said. When asked what he’d rather be doing, he replied: “I’m doing it. Seriously dude, I’m doing it.”
